Who doesn’t love a Spotify-style wrapped end of year review. Even the app I use for my shared shopping list does it. I bought apples more than anything else.
What is important as designers we look back at our year and everything we’ve achieved no matter how small the steps were. Every action is a step on the path to signed games. The pitch2table year in review is available in our mobile app (it’s free), there should be a banner on the front page (if you used the app enough).

Version 7 also brings along some new quality of life changes:
What’s new in Version 7
- Re-order tasks and see your next most important task separated from the pack. Do this one first.
- There is a new tasks tab which shows you the top task from each game you’re working on. A quick way to see what’s the next most important thing to work on.
- We’ve streamlined the ways you add play tests, awards, rules, sell sheets, topics, royalties, conventions, editions and external links. We’ve pulled them all into one place so you can get to where you’re going quicker. This also helps make the game screen less cluttered as we won’t show most sections that are yet. to have content. To get started tap the + buttons on the game page.
- Adding a royalty now defaults to our preferred currency. We also show the royalty date in the royalty list views.
- Improved published filtering. This is the foundation work for a new publisher directory in 2026. Generally speaking, filtering is improved in the app with additive filters and long press to set an exclusive filter.
- Inviting co-designers now remembers people you’ve worked with in the past. Serial co-designers we got you!
- You can link games together to let you jump from expansion to the base game.
- You can see the BGG stats for your published games. Drop the BGG url in and we’ll fetch the rank for you. It’s nice to watch that number slowly go down.
- Signed and published games are now sorted by release date. There is now a neat little view of when each of your games came out and spot and a section to spot games with no-release date. Time to ask that publisher for an estimated release date…

And that list does not include the little fixes and performance improvements we’ve made along the way.
What’s Next?
That is the last planned release of pitch2table for 2025, we’re really proud of all the updates we’ve brought this year. It’s a huge list and I won’t recap it here, you can pop into the app and in the account menu there is an updates section. It scrolls for ages. Next for us is nice break and when we come back we’re hoping to be there with you in 2026 as you test, pitch, get those games signed and for some of you getting to see the final product on the table. Such a great feeling when it happens.
Everything above is available for all users of pitch2table.
